Oxalis Lucky Clover (Shamrock)

Did you know that there is actually no such thing as a shamrock? The word is a corruption of an Irish word meaning “little clover”. The plants you see around St. Patrick’s Day are typically species of Oxalis, like we have offered here. Shamrock generally refers to white clover (Trifolium repens). That being said, celebrate the luck of the Irish with a beautiful Oxalis plant from Plumeria! This plant needs cool conditions, especially when in bloom, with bright light. Keep the soil moist, but not wet, and the plant in an area no hotter than 75°F and you will have successfully achieved a green thumb. Our 5″ plants come in a beautiful pot ready to display in your favorite space. We usually have a few varieties and will choose one from the stock on hand.
