Bring them back to Plumeria.
Our Glass to Cash program gives clean, reusable glass flower vases another chance to bloom while giving you something back in return.
For every glass vase we can reuse, you’ll receive one punch on your Glass to Cash card. Fill your card with 20 punches and receive $10 in Plumeria store credit to use on an in-store purchase.

It’s an easy way to clear out those extra vases, keep perfectly good glass in circulation, and help reduce the impact on our environment.

How Glass to Cash Works
Participating is simple.
1. Bring us your reusable glass vases.
Drop them off at either Plumeria Botanical Boutique location in Battle Creek.
2. We’ll take a quick look.
For each clean, undamaged glass container that we can reasonably use for a floral arrangement, you’ll receive one punch.
3. Keep your punch card.
Your punches don’t expire, so there’s no rush to fill your card.
4. Reach 20 punches.
A completed 20-punch card is worth $10 in Plumeria store credit.
5. Treat yourself—or someone else.
Redeem your completed card during an in-store purchase at either Plumeria location.
What Kind of Glass Vases Can I Bring?
We’re looking for clean, reusable glass containers that can reasonably be used to create an average-sized floral arrangement.
That includes many traditional flower vases as well as usable:
- Clear or colored glass vases
- Bud vases
- Glass cubes and rectangular containers
- Glass bowls
- Decorative glass floral containers
- Other appropriately sized glass containers suitable for fresh flowers
They don’t have to have originally come from Plumeria. If it’s a usable glass floral container, we’re happy to take a look.
Before bringing your vases in, please make sure they are:
Clean and empty
Please wash or rinse them before bringing them to the shop.
Free from chips, cracks and scratches
Damaged glass can be weaker and more likely to break, so we cannot reuse it safely.
Free from old flowers and plant material
Free from floral foam
Free from candle wax
Free from heavy mineral or hard-water buildup
Free from labels, stickers, ribbon and adhesive residue
A little prep at home helps us get your returned glass back into circulation more quickly.
What We Don't Accept
Glass to Cash is specifically intended for containers that our floral designers can reuse.
We do not accept:
- Bottles
- Food jars
- Candle jars
- Plastic containers
- Baskets
- Containers that are too small, too large or otherwise impractical for a typical floral arrangement
- Chipped, cracked, scratched or damaged glass
Please do not bring broken glass into the shop.
Because every container is different, Plumeria reserves the right to determine whether an item is suitable for reuse. We expect declines to be uncommon, but we need to make sure every vase we accept can be safely and practically used again.
If you bring us an intact glass container that we can’t use, ask us whether we can recycle it for you instead.
Why Reuse Flower Vases?
Glass flower vases tend to accumulate.
A birthday arrangement becomes an empty vase in the cupboard. Then comes an anniversary. A thank-you bouquet. Mother’s Day. Before long, there’s a collection of perfectly usable glass with nowhere to go.
We’d rather put it back to work.
Through Glass to Cash, reusable flower vases can come back to Plumeria, return to our design room, and eventually leave the shop filled with flowers again.
Reuse allows us to extend the useful life of containers that already exist while reducing our need for new glass. And by rewarding customers for participating, we hope to make returning those unused vases worthwhile for everyone.
It’s not just glass recycling. It’s reuse whenever reuse is possible.

A few simple rules keep the program easy for everyone:
- One accepted vase earns one punch.
- A completed card requires 20 punches.
- Completed cards are worth $10 in Plumeria store credit.
- Punches and completed cards do not expire.
- One $10 Glass to Cash credit may be redeemed per purchase.
- Minimum purchase is $10.
- Credit is redeemed in store at either Plumeria location.
- Credit may be used on regular-price or sale merchandise.
- Credit cannot be combined with another discount or promotional offer.
- Credit may be applied toward a flower order being delivered when the order is placed and paid for in store.
- Credit cannot be used toward the purchase of a Plumeria gift card.
- Credit cannot be applied to workshops, weddings or event services.
- Completed cards have no cash redemption value.
- Lost punch cards cannot be replaced; we’re happy to give you a new card so you can begin again.
